Dr. Jay Moore

Owner/Founding Physician

I received my MD and completed a double residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Missouri, and then worked as a community-based primary care physician in the greater St. Louis area.

I have also worked in a variety of healthcare leadership roles. I’ve been a hospital administrator, an executive at a large national health insurance company, the chief clinical officer for a healthcare finance startup, and a medical director for Walmart Health. I live in St. Louis, MO with my wife, dog, and a too-large collection of science fiction books and hobby board games.

Oh, one more thing: I’m also a huge nerd and run a board game convention in St. Louis called Geekway to the West. (If you’ve been to Geekway — why yes, I’m the guy who stands at the front of the room and tells you to return your games to the library. 😯)

Jay Moore, MD (he/him) is board certified in internal medicine, and keeps up on all the latest clinical information in order to provide evidence-based medicine. We believe in science!

Carly Troxell

Office Director

I may be new to the medical field, but I have two decades of customer service and management training under my belt, seventeen of which were in the property and casualty insurance world. I am so thankful to be out of the corporate world and truly helping people!

I have been a member of St Louis' LGBTQ+ community for many years, and regularly participated in community activism endeavors on the local level since the beginnings of the BLM movement of 2014.

While maybe not quite as nerdy as Jay, I am also a proper geek! I'd love to hear your Star Wars hot takes, and I have a deep fondness for TTRPGs. I’m also a cat lady to two: Mimosa and Sazie.

We Love Science

In fact, the logo for our practice is the image that’s on the Golden Record that’s engraved on Voyager 1, a satellite that was launched in 1977 (when Dr. Moore was 3 years old, yikes), and is still going strong.

The logo is a map of the universe that explains to any alien life forms that might find it where it originated. Having seen more than a few alien movies, we’re not sure that’s a great idea… but it’s still really cool!
